Marathon Training

So we decided that after the wonderful trip to Kalmar we would try not to get the post Ironman blues! So we registered for Dublin Marathon which takes place at end of October! 

We have taken part in this race several times before & it has always been amazing! The atmosphere is super & the party afterwards makes you forget about the pain! 

So after 2 weeks rest we started back training! I was under the illusion that is was going to be "easy" Well I got that wrong! It has been hard getting back into the swing of things. The training consists of several short runs,a few strength training sessions & one long run a week! It is hard to imagine how I squeezed in 20 hours before. With only just over a month to go we may get stuck into the training once again!!! 

We need to decide on what we are wearing on race day.  The Fitted Running Shorts have been tried and tested so we know they will be great on the day, but if it is cold we may end up wearing the Lakota Run Tights.
