This was the second taper week, with less hours training again. I really don't know if this is good for me, I'm getting used to being lazy! I'm also finding it difficult to stop eating, I've been so used to eating more during the big training weeks and with the extra time on my hands this week I've also had time to go out for dinner a few times. I'll have to be careful I don't split my wetsuit!
Luckily, this was the week of our tri club sprint triathlon, so I've been kept busy marshalling and helping out with practice swims and getting race packs filled. The best job if all is marshalling though, it's hard work but I love giving encouragement to all the athletes, especially those who are doing their first tri.
