I was feeling stronger again this week, the training didn't feel like such an effort, even the 5:30am starts weren't so bad! Next week is taper week before the Challenge Galway Half Distance. I've been reminding myself that I will have a good rest next week and that's helped a lot this week.
We found a great new open water swimming spot this week at Ballyholme Yacht Club, lots of nice people and safety cover. They have a 750m course set out and you can swim it as many times as you can manage in an hour. This week I only managed 2, it was a little bit cold, it'll be 3 for sure next week.
We got the new Lakota Run tights in this week and I haven't had them off - they are so light and comfortable.
