Week 10 Ironman Training 14th-20th March 2016 - Base Phase Complete!

Woo hoo!! I got through base phase! It feels so good to know that I am a third of the way through the training.  

This week was much better than week 9, energy levels were up and it was lovely to race again - I did the Larne Half Marathon.  I  have been running Larne for a number of years now and it is such a fantastic race, there is no better scenery and the atmosphere and support is amazing!

Of course, I had to celebrate after the race with a night out so the 3 hour turbo to finish the week the next morning was quite difficult!

Looking forward to entering the next phase of training - the build phase!
